The legendary Pezinská Baba welcomed more than 130 drivers from several European countries. Václav Janík claimed the overall victory, while Martin Juhás was the fastest Slovak driver.

From 24 to 26 July 2026, Pezinská Baba once again became the centre of hill climb racing in Slovakia. The BABA SLOVAKIA 2026 event attracted strong international competition and formed part of several prestigious championships, including the DYNAMAX International Slovak Hill Climb Championship 2026, the FIA Central European Zone Championship, as well as the Czech and Austrian championships.

A total of 134 drivers took to the start line, while sunny and dry weather provided excellent racing conditions throughout the weekend. The demanding course between the Pezinok quarry and the Pezinská Baba mountain pass tested the speed, precision and courage of every competitor. The final standings were determined by the combined times from the two Sunday race runs.

The fastest driver of the entire event was Czech competitor Václav Janík, driving a Norma M20 FC prototype. Janík confirmed his pace from the very first race run and secured the overall victory with a combined time of 3:38.097. Second place went to fellow Czech driver David Komárek in the McLaren F1 Evo 2019, who recorded a total time of 3:44.167. Slovakia also celebrated an excellent result thanks to Martin Juhás, who finished third overall behind the wheel of a Lola B03/51 with a combined time of 3:49.393.

BABA SLOVAKIA 2026 once again confirmed that Pezinská Baba holds an important place in both Slovak and Central European motorsport. A strong field of competitors, exciting battles, a large number of spectators and excellent organisation created a true racing atmosphere and delivered another successful round of the DYNAMAX International Slovak Hill Climb Championship 2026.
